All members of the district are welcome to attend the district annual meeting. Individual members of the district have the right to attend and speak at the annual meeting. Voting rights are reserved only for voting representatives appointed by the local branches.

The meeting invitation will be sent by email to the chairpersons of the branches.

Helsinki and Uusimaa district annual meeting

The annual meeting of the district will be held in April.

Venue

The meeting venue will be announced no later than two weeks before the meeting.

Programme outline

The programme will be published and included with the invitations no later than two weeks before the meeting.

Advance registration

Advance registration is required for the annual meeting and the programme held in connection with it. Registration is completed via an online form.

Advance registration is required for catering arrangements (coffee and lunch). Please inform us of any special dietary requirements when registering.

Notification of voting representatives

Branches must notify their voting representatives who exercise decision-making authority in advance by submitting a power of attorney. See the power of attorney template.

We kindly request that powers of attorney be submitted in advance as an email attachment to hup.neuvonta@redcross.fi. Submitting them in advance will speed up registration on the morning of the meeting. Powers of attorney may also be submitted in person at the registration desk.

Decision-making authority

Decision-making authority at the annual meeting is exercised by the voting representatives of the branches. Each branch is entitled to one representative for every commenced 100 members of the branch.

The reference date for determining the number of members is the last day of the previous year.
