Welcome to the HUP’s pages!

In the Helsinki and Uusimaa district of the Finnish Red Cross, there are 45 local branches formed by Red Cross volunteers who are responsible for activities in their respective areas. The employees of HUP support volunteer activities and develop and coordinate operations in their own areas of responsibility. Together with our branches, Red Cross institutions, and partners, we enhance the overall readiness and social well-being of our region. We create places for action and influence that respond to human needs for assistance and encourage everyone to participate in building a more sustainable and safer living environment.
