Administration and decision-making
Decisions that guide the district’s activities are made by the district board, which consists of volunteer members. New members are elected at the district’s annual meeting in April to replace those whose terms have ended.
In addition to the board members, the district executive director, the district management team, and the secretary - who is a district employee - participate in the board meetings.
Board announcements and minutes from the current and previous year are published on this page in Finnish. For older announcements and minutes, please contact the district office: hup.neuvonta@redcross.fi
At the national level, the activities of the Finnish Red Cross are led by a board and a council, both consisting of volunteer members. Members are elected every three years at the General Assembly.
