Equality Training 🌈

We encourage all Red Cross volunteers, employees, and others involved in our activities to take the Diversity in Volunteering course. The course helps address prejudices and increase the accessibility of volunteer activities. The course can be found on the Red Cross e-learning platform: https://kompassi.punainenristi.fi/courses/moninaisuus-vapaaehtoistoiminnassa. The e-learning platform first asks you to log in or create an account.

Red Cross employees also take the Equal and Diverse Red Cross training, which supports the promotion of equality and inclusion in our work. During the first week of June, a joint Pride month kickoff will be held for employees.

Discussion on the Right to Community in the Online Meeting Place on 25.6.2025 🌈

On Wednesday, 25.6. from 17:00 to 18:30, an anonymous discussion on the right to community will be held in the Red Cross online meeting place. The discussion will be conducted in three languages (Finnish, Swedish, English). You can join the discussion via the chat link on the online meeting place page.

Helsinki Pride Parade 28.6.2025 🌈

June culminates in Helsinki with Helsinki Pride. The Red Cross will once again have its own walking block in the Helsinki Pride parade on Saturday, 28.6.2025. After the parade, there will be free time at the park party. Register by 27.6. to receive last-minute tips!
