Friend courses and events in spring 2026

Now is a great time to get involved in the Red Cross friend activities!

You can join the friend activities by taking the friend course either in person or online. You can also come to friend activity events to get to know the activities, even if you haven’t taken the course yet. There are especially many events and courses around Valentine’s Day – and of course also on Valentine’s Day, 14 February.

Anyone can join the friend activities and become a friend to someone who feels lonely. You don’t need any special skills. It’s enough that you can listen and be present.

Even one reliable companion can help ease loneliness. We constantly need new volunteer friends — also after Valentine’s Day.

Here are upcoming in-person courses and events in our area as well as online courses. You are free to choose what you’d like to participate in!
