Support for the handling of cash donations on Hunger Day

HUP offers its branches support in the settlement of cash donations on Hunger Day. After the Hunger Day box collection, a service point will operate in HUP Kampus training facility at the district office, where branches can deliver their counted and bagged cash donations. 

The district will deliver the settlement bags to the bank via secure delivery. 

Service point after collection days

The district office's Hunger Day service point will be open on three occastions after the collection days of 25-27 September 2025:

The safe handling of money requires special arrangements, which is why donations cannot be delivered to the district office at other times. 

At the service point, pre-counted and bagged cash donations for Hunger Day will be accepted. If necessary, the branches can use a coin counter and print bank transfer forms at the service point. A district employee will be there to support, but counting the money is the responsibility of the branch. Branches cannot leave collection boxes for the district to count.

We invite the collection leaders and Hunger Day teams of the branches to follow the national Hunger Day status review and quick feedback session together on 2 October from 16:45 to 19:00 at HUP Kampus. 

Registration by 22 September 2025 via Oma.
