Are you ready to help?
Do you have strong skills or language proficiency that could be useful in emergency or exceptional situations? We are looking for experts from various fields to join the Expert Reserve!
In sudden and prolonged assistance tasks, we might need your specific expertise. You could be a professional in food services or logistics, an IT specialist, an interpreter, or an accountant. Or you might speak a language needed to deliver aid.
You don't need to be an active volunteer to join the Expert Reserve. The tasks in the Expert Reserve are shaped by needs, and you can offer your valuable help exactly when it is most needed and when it suits you.
Sign up for the Expert Reserve
We offer training and orientation for the Expert Reserve to develop and maintain readiness skills. We primarily communicate with the Expert Reserve via email and send information about new training sessions and tips for short-term readiness tasks approximately four times a year.
We store videos aimed at the Expert Reserve in a YouTube playlist.
Join the Red Cross
We recommend Red Cross membership for members of the Expert Reserve. Some of the training sessions for the Expert Reserve may only be available to Red Cross members.
