Welcome to join the Red Cross!
As a member, you support local activities and are part of a global network of help. The Red Cross operates based on local needs, but as a network, we support humanitarian work around the world – wherever the need is greatest. As a member, you can also enjoy membership benefits, such as changing offers in the Red Cross Shop and Kontti Second Hand stores. You will receive member communications and, if you wish, the membership magazine and updates. You may also get discounts, for example on first aid courses.
In local branches, members have voting rights at the spring and autumn meetings, and membership is a requirement for positions of trust in our organisation.

Membership recruitment events
Local Red Cross branches organise welcoming events across Uusimaa where you can meet volunteers, learn about branch activities, take part in a raffle, and join the Red Cross.
A major series of events will be organised in our district during Red Cross Week, on Saturday 8 May 2027.
